Before ‘Sarfira’, Radhika Madan has appeared in other films as well. She has also shared the screen with Bollywood veteran and late actor Irrfan Khan. Radhika got a chance to work with Irrfan in the film ‘Angrezi Medium’. Kareena Kapoor was also a part of this film. Let us tell you that this film was released in the year 2020. In this, Irrfan played the role of Radhika’s father. But ‘Angrezi Medium’ did not get much response at the box office.

I never thought I would work with Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor
Recently, Radhika Madan gave an interview to India Today. The actress said that she never thought that she would get a chance to work with Kareena Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in the beginning of her Bollywood career. Radhika was very happy to share the screen with Kareena and Irrfan.
Radhika met Irrfan Khan for the first time here
In an interview given to India Today, Radhika also talked about her first meeting with Irrfan. The actress said, ‘I remember we met for the first time during a reading in Maddock’s (production house) office. He was wearing a pink outfit. I remember very well that I was reading my script. Then he came. I said- ‘Hi Papa’. He said- ‘It’s you’ and then he hugged me warmly.
Irfan was and will always be a father to me
Radhika further said, ‘I never saw him as Irrfan. I always saw him as my father. I realised later that I worked with Irrfan. For me, he was a father and will always be’.
Irrfan passed away in April 2020
Irrfan Khan died a few days after the release of ‘Angrezi Medium’. ‘Angrezi Medium’ was released on 11 March 2024. Irrfan died on 29 April 2020 due to cancer.
